We are seeking applications from recent graduates with an interest in developing skills in the creative workshops and print media design suite used to support architectural education. This is an excellent opportunity to gain skills and experience of using specialist equipment and supporting students in architectural education.

You will play an active part in this creative design team supporting the model making facilities in the Liverpool School of Architecture (LSA). You will work closely with the technical, academic, and professional services colleagues, to support student access to analogue and digital design and print facilities.

There will be additional activities in maintaining and supporting safe working practices, exhibition projects and occasionally external projects. You will be given guidance and training to develop your skills so that you can assist with all areas of the creative design facilities – woodworking equipment, plotters, 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC router, and materials provision for architecture model making and exhibition builds – to support students in achieving their learning objectives.

You will also gain an insight into risk and safety procedures, records management, use of materials and sustainability initiatives that underpin technical services.
