Hours of work: Full-time - 35 hours per week
Hybrid Working: Minimum requirement of 40% on Campus, with 60% considered desirable where possible
The Student Experience Assistant is a member of the School of Environmental Sciences Student Experience Team, providing high-quality administrative support across the school’s two specialist sub‑teams: Assessment, Welfare and Policy and Education and Enhancement. Reporting to a Student Experience Co‑ordinator, you contribute to the effective delivery of student administration services that support the student lifecycle from induction and registration through to assessment, progression and graduation.
Working across the Department of Earth, Ocean and Ecological Sciences and the Department of Geography and Planning, the role provides an important point of contact for students, staff and external stakeholders.
You will work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues to ensure efficient administration, excellent customer service and compliance with university policies, regulations and procedures.
