We are seeking a Grade 5 Research Technician to join Dr Ainsworth’s research group at the University of Liverpool, supporting a collaborative programme of research focused on antivenom development.
You will work as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, including research partners across the Liverpool area, and will contribute to laboratory studies aimed at advancing the development and evaluation of antivenom therapies.
You will support research focused on the development and optimisation of laboratory processing and purification methods, alongside the safety profiling of antivenoms. You will be primarily responsible for carrying out established and developing experimental procedures, generating high-quality experimental data, and maintaining accurate laboratory records.
You should have BTec Higher or equivalent in biological sciences.
