We are seeking to recruit a Student Learning and Teaching Support Officer within the Institute of Population Health to support students in the Departments of Psychology, Primary Care and Mental Health, Public Health Policy and Systems and Health Data Science. Working closely with academic and professional services colleagues, as well as another LTSO, you will act as a main point of contact for students within the Institute experiencing issues that are impacting on their wellbeing and performance, guide them through relevant procedures and signpost them to specialist support and welfare services within the University.

You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification / relevant professional experience), with experience of working in student administration in the Higher Education sector and providing advice, guidance and support to students. You should have a good understanding of issues affecting students’ learning experience in a diverse Higher Education environment, have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships both within the Institute and across the University.

This post is fixed term until 31 August 2027.
