Hours of work: Full-time - 35 hours per week
Tenure: Fixed term for 4 years or earlier if CCT is less than 4 years
We are seeking to appoint an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Respiratory Medicine based at the University of Liverpool.
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual wishing to excel in both their clinical and academic training, with the ambition to join the next generation of leading clinical academics.
The training will require the trainees spending 50% of their time undergoing academic training combined with clinical training in the remaining 50%.
A successful applicant will demonstrate clear medium and long-term career goals and will demonstrate an ability to deliver publications and clinical health impact and to win funding for clinical research in a relevant area.
The post is available on a fixed term basis for four years or until CCT if before that date. (post CCT extension may be possible).
You must hold a National Training Number at the time of application, and have been awarded a research doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in a relevant subject area by the time you take up the post (not later than 31 August 2027).
