We are looking for a KTP Associate to work with Cooper Antennas. The main objectives are to design novel metamaterial antennas, establish scalable and cost-effective fabrication processes, and integrate these metamaterials into antenna demonstrators optimised for real-world applications, particularly aircraft and satellite-based systems.
Prototype metamaterial samples and antenna demonstrators will be fabricated, characterised, and validated using advanced RF and microwave facilities at the University of Liverpool and Cooper Antennas. The post is for 2 years. At the end of the project, a permanent position to work at the Company may be offered.
The KTP Associate will be responsible for the development of metamaterial antennas with the input from both the University and the Company supervisors. The Associate will be responsible for the design, simulation, and testing of the metamaterial antennas and will also help the company to produce next generation antennas for aircraft and satellite applications.
