  • South Hampstead United Synagogue is looking for an experienced and dynamic

Head of Operations to help lead and develop our thriving community.

Working closely with the Senior Rabbi, Honorary Officers, Council, staff and volunteers, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring excellent service delivery, strong member engagement and the successful implementation of key strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational management of the community and its facilities.
  • Manage and support office, facilities and caretaking teams.
  • Oversee community programming, events and communications.
  • Manage budgets, support fundraising initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with members, volunteers, contractors and key stakeholders.

About You

You will have

  • Proven senior leadership and operational management experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience leading teams and delivering strategic objectives.
  • An understanding of, and appreciation for, Modern Orthodox Jewish life and the ethos of the United Synagogue.
