The role We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Educational Partnerships Institutional Liaison Manager (ILM) to join our Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our global engagement strategy, working to build, manage and enhance institutional partnerships worldwide. Based at our Headington campus and reporting to the University Lead on Educational Partnerships, you will be responsible for the development and management of institutional educational partnerships across the University. You\’ll ensure our programmes are delivered to high academic standards, maintaining excellent relationships with partner institutions and aligning with UK quality assurance frameworks. The focus of this post initially will be to provide liaison management for the development, validation and delivery of a new institutional partnership as well as to sensitively navigate the teach-out arrangements for a closing partnership. About the team By unifying all marketing, communications, recruitment and engagement activity, the Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement Directorate makes a measurable difference to the experience of staff, prospective students, students and alumni. The Directorate is confident and ambitious, applying professional skills and expertise to make every contact count and to make a valued contribution to the University’s objectives. What will I be doing? ● Coordinating the operational relationship with international institutional partners ● Overseeing the project and academic development of programmes for new institutional partnerships and expansion of existing partnerships ● Monitoring academic quality, student satisfaction, and liaising with external examiners ● Chairing examination and programme committees ● Supporting risk management through maintenance of risk registers and documentation ● Representing Brookes in meetings with stakeholders such as Ministries of Education and accreditation bodies ● Managing recruitment data reporting and contributing to key governance groups. What skills do I need? ● A Master’s degree or higher ● Extensive experience of quality assurance for programme delivery ● Strong working knowledge of UK higher education standards and regulatory frameworks ● Previous experience of managing partnerships, with cultural awareness and sensitivity ● Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills ● Confident chairing meetings and engaging with stakeholders at all levels ● Experience with programme validation, and regulatory compliance. This role will be hybrid and we expect there will be a requirement to be on campus 1-2 days on campus per week.
