About the role: There is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join the Biochemistry Department within the Rapid Response Laboratory at North Middlesex Hospital on a Bank Contract. Unfortunately, this is not a training role and experienced BMS staff only will be considered.
This role is ideal for an HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist who is looking to further develop their expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality diagnostic service, undertaking a broad range of specialised clinical biochemistry investigations with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
Working as part of a Biochemistry team, you will be responsible for:
- Performing, validating, and interpreting laboratory tests
- Contributing to maintaining turnaround times
- Ensuring compliance with quality management systems and standard operating procedures
- Involvement in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, method development, and continuous service improvement initiatives
