My client is a reputable innovative food business who are passionate about delivering high quality products to market.

They are seeking a Supply Chain Director to join their team. The successful Supply Chain Director will be responsible for the end-to-end management of their supply chain, ensuring seamless operations from procurement to delivery, whilst leading a team of professionals, driving efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

This is the perfect role for a dynamic, high performing and extremely driven Supply Chain Director to join a reputable business who can match their ambition and offer genuine progression opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
  2. Oversee procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards.
  4. Lead demand forecasting and inventory optimisation to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
  5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to ensure supply chain alignment with business goals.
  7. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  9. Manage and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

The Ideal Supply Chain Director Candidate:
