I’m recruiting a Sous Chef for a fresh-food university catering operation in Central London. You’ll work across student dining, hospitality, private dining and events, with approximately 70–80% of shifts Monday–Friday

The Role
- Support the senior kitchen team with daily operations.
- Lead preparation and service across different sections.
- Help develop fresh, seasonal menus.
- Maintain food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Support and develop junior chefs.
- Manage stock, minimise waste and maintain food safety standards.
- Take responsibility for the kitchen when required.
About You
- An experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to progress.
- A background in restaurants, hotels, contract catering or education.
- Confident cooking fresh food across different menus.
- Organised and comfortable leading a busy service.
- A positive team member who enjoys supporting other chefs.
