This is an exciting opportunity to join a lively, seasonal beach club and lifestyle venue on the Isle of Wight. Trading from March through October, the business is high-volume and fast-paced, perfect for someone who thrives on service, training, and leading teams. This isn’t a corporate role – it’s all about service, leadership, and creating an exceptional guest experience in a unique beachside setting.
The Role:
- Manage a team of 50+ staff, ensuring standards, training, and service excellence are consistently delivered
- Lead by example – be hands-on, visible, and a real service enthusiast
- Train and develop young or inexperienced staff, driving performance and confidence
- Oversee day-to-day operations and peak-season intensity, ensuring smooth service during summer’s 600 covers per day
- Maintain high standards in wine service and operational efficiency
- Get things done – operational, organised, and commercially aware, with light admin
The Person:
- Minimum 3 years in a Restaurant Manager role or higher
- High-volume experience and a love for lively, busy environments
- Strong wine knowledge, ideally WSET Level 2
- High energy, hands-on, and confident leading a team
- Must live on the Isle of Wight or be willing to relocate
