Our client, a Distributor and Retailor of International Alcoholic brands, is looking for a Spirits and Beer Category Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will drive sales and profit by managing product assortment, supplier relationships, pricing, promotions, and merchandising for beer and spirits categories, using data analysis (sales trends, market data) to optimize product mix, negotiate deals, control stock, and develop category strategies aligned with business goals for retailers or distributors.

A bit about the role:

  • Develop and execute plans for the spirits & beer categories, setting direction for assortment, pricing, and placement.
  • Achieve sales, margin, and profit targets; analyze performance metrics (sales, stock, profit) to identify opportunities.
  • Use internal/external data to understand market trends, buying habits, and category performance.
  • Work with sales, operations, marketing, and retail teams to ensure effective execution.
