The big thing: You need extensive operational F&B experience, either directly or indirectly, alongside strong, genuine project management experience. This role is much more about coordination, documentation, timelines and keeping multiple teams aligned than actually executing the work yourself.
My client is a growing hospitality business looking for an organised and commercially aware Project Manager to manage the operator side of new openings, refurbishments and operational change. You’ll work across Operations, People, Finance, Technology, Commercial and Brand, making sure everyone knows what they need to deliver, when it needs to happen and that nothing falls through the cracks.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing project plans, timelines, actions, risks and dependencies
- Coordinating multiple internal teams and external project partners
- Managing mobilisation and operational readiness for new openings and refurbishments
- Tracking recruitment, training, suppliers, technology, compliance and operational requirements
- Identifying risks and escalating issues before they impact delivery
- Supporting soft openings, launches and post-opening stabilisation
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
We’re looking for:
- Strong F&B / hospitality operational experience
- Proven project management experience
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing multiple projects, openings or operational change
