Group Financial Controller in London

An international hotel group is looking for a Regional Financial Controller to cover a portfolio of London hotels. The role reports to the Head of Finance.The role combines financial control with business partnering. You'll own reporting, forecasting and governance across the portfolio and work closely with General Managers and Regional Operations to improve revenue, productivity and profitability.What you'll doFinance leadershipAct as the senior finance partner for the portfolio, supporting operational and commercial decisionsProvide analysis and challenge on revenue, profitability and return on investmentSupport business cases and growth initiativesReporting and performanceLead management accounts, budgeting and forecasting across the portfolioDeliver accurate, timely management informationTrack KPIs, trends and market benchmarks to identify risks and opportunitiesHold hotel teams accountable for financial performanceBusiness partneringWork with hotel leadership teams on revenue, labour productivity and profitabilityPresent performance and recommendations to senior stakeholdersTurn financial data into practical actions for operationsControls and governanceMaintain financial controls and compliance across the portfolioSupport audits and risk managementPeopleLead and develop a regional finance team of (number)Improve processes and ways of working across the portfolioWhat you'll bringQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or actively studying towards a qualification.Experience as a Financial Controller, Cluster Financial Controller, Regional Finance lead or Finance Business PartnerHotel, leisure or multi-site experience (strongly preferred)Confidence challenging and influencing senior operational stakeholdersA track record of improving financial performance, not just reporting on itExperience leading and developing a teamAbility to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleaguesWorking knowledge of ERP systems, reporting tools and hotel PMS
