I am currently recruiting for Director of Sales for this central London hotel. As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the best client experience along with profitability for the hotel. We are looking for a sales-driven individual who is a sales expert in hospitality along with experience managing and mentoring a sales team.
About the position:
- Identify & grow new business
- Develop strategic long term customer relationships
- Organise and carry out in-market sales tours
- Act as the market segment specialist
- Work closely with the General Manager
- Report to the VP of Sales
- Ensure that the team is maximising revenue opportunities and conversions
- Manage and develop the sales team
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Sales Director in hotels
- Strong knowledge of the industry and drive for sales
- Business Development specialist
- Ability to make effective commercial decisions
- Must be able to negotiate contracts
- A dynamic, proactive, and motivated individual
- Ability to develop and manage relationships
- Strong communication and administrative skills
