Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join the London Bench of a rapidly growing, high-volume QSR business.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strong, hands-on QSR General Manager who enjoys working across different locations, supporting high-volume operations and stepping into permanent site leadership opportunities as the business continues to grow.
As a Bench GM, you will play a key role in maintaining operational standards, supporting restaurant teams, covering management vacancies and providing leadership across multiple London locations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the London restaurant estate across operational and leadership requirements
- Step into General Manager positions where required, including permanent and interim opportunities
- Lead high-volume QSR operations and ensure consistently high standards
- Coach, develop and support management teams and front-line colleagues
- Drive sales, profitability and operational performance
- Manage P&L performance and key operational KPIs
- Maintain strong labour, food cost, waste and stock control
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience and uphold operational standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and retention
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety and company procedures
- Support new openings, operational projects and business initiatives across London
- Provide additional leadership support during periods of high demand or management transition
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the estate
- Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager within QSR, fast casual or a high-volume hospitality environment
- Strong multi-site or multi-location experience would be highly desirable
- Comfortable working across different London locations
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing P&L and operational KPIs
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Hands-on, energetic and adaptable management style
- Able to quickly establish credibility within new teams and locations
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong understanding of food safety, health & safety and operational compliance
- Experience within a structured, high-growth brand environment preferred Flexible approach to supporting different sites and business requirements
