Overview
In this role you will shape the learning, development and talent agenda for a prestigious London hotel. You will lead the L&D function, partner with department heads to address skills gaps, and deliver engaging programmes across all levels. You will drive leadership development, onboarding, coaching, and a culture of continuous learning, with focus on measuring impact and ROI. This is a hands-on leadership position within luxury hospitality that emphasizes people experience, progression, and embedding the hotel’s values.

Responsibilities
- Support design and implementation of the L&D strategy and annual training plan
- Lead and develop a high-performing L&D function
- Partner with department heads to identify skills gaps and priorities
- Design and deliver training programmes across all levels
- Support leadership development, talent management and succession planning
- Develop onboarding and induction programmes for a strong starter experience
- Drive a culture of continuous learning, coaching and feedback
- Monitor training effectiveness, engagement and ROI to improve programmes
- Support compliance training and industry standards
- Build relationships with external training providers and partners
- Champion the hotel values throughout the colleague journey
Key requirements
- Proven experience in a senior L&D/learning role within luxury, upscale or high-volume hospitality
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Confidence to influence senior stakeholders
- Proactive, creative and commercially minded approach
- Knowledge of learning strategy, talent development and leadership programmes
- Ability to measure ROI and use data/feedback to improve programmes
- Experience in onboarding, coaching, and succession planning
