You will oversee all aspects of HR, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, and performance management, ensuring employees feel supported, motivated and equipped to deliver exceptional service. This is a highly visible, hands on position requiring someone who is equally comfortable developing people initiatives, supporting managers with day to day HR matters and being present within the operation.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of all HR activities, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement, retention and offboarding, ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislationLead end to end recruitment across hospitality, food and beverage, children's activities, operations and management positions, developing effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent aligned with the business's values and service standardsDevelop and deliver engaging induction, training and development programmes, ensuring employees have the skills, confidence and knowledge to provide an exceptional member experience. Identify skills gaps, support leadership development and create clear career progression opportunitiesChampion a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture, introducing initiatives that improve employee satisfaction, communication, wellbeing and retention. Ensure the company's values are embedded throughout the employee experienceManage HR policies, contracts, employee records, absence management and HR systems, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation, safeguarding requirements and relevant operational standardsAct as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and operational managers, providing practical HR guidance, coaching and support. Use people data and insights to improve workforce planning, recruitment, training effectiveness and overall business performance.Experience Proven experience in a People & Culture Manager, HR Manager or similar generalist HR positionA background within luxury hospitality, private members clubs, premium leisure, hotels or another service lead environmentStrong experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and retentionA passion for learning and development, with experience creating and delivering effective training programmesExcellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practicesExperience supporting operational teams within a fast paced, customer facing environmentStrong communication, influencing and relationship building skillsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
