The role:
- Reporting directly to the founder and working closely with the Head Chef to deliver a standout City destination
- Full operational ownership of the business, balancing day-to-day delivery with longer-term strategy
- Leading from the floor and setting standards around service, pace and guest experience
- Recruiting, training and developing a strong management and front-of-house team
- Ownership of commercial performance, labour, margins and cost control
- Confident handling of HR matters with a calm, structured approach
The person:
- A proven General Manager from a premium restaurant background
- Comfortable with the realities of a new opening, from pre-launch through the first 12 months
- Strong on recruitment and building teams from the ground up
