About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of an exciting, fast-growing food and beverage brand that is rapidly establishing itself in the UK market.

Operating in the healthy grab-and-go sector, the business has developed a strong lifestyle following through its innovative product offering, distinctive store environments and customer-focused approach.

With ambitious expansion plans, including more than 10 new locations in the pipeline over the next 12 months and a target of 50 UK sites by 2030, the company is entering a significant phase of growth.

This presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Development Manager / Project Manager to take ownership of new store openings and play an integral role in shaping the brand's UK footprint.

The Role

We are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Property Development Manager to oversee the delivery of new retail and hospitality locations across the UK.

You will be responsible for coordinating the development and fit-out process, ensuring new sites are delivered efficiently, within budget and to a consistently high standard.

Working with internal stakeholders, external contractors, designers, consultants and suppliers, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, from design coordination and pre-construction through to practical completion and store opening.

This is an opportunity to join a growing business at an early stage of its UK expansion, with significant autonomy, responsibility and the ability to influence how future locations are delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of new store fit-out projects, from design handover to successful opening.
  • Coordinate contractors, architects, consultants and suppliers to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Oversee project programmes, procurement, construction costs and contractor performance.
  • Support the development of a reliable network of UK contractors, trades and specialist suppliers.
  • Manage planning-related requirements, building regulations, statutory approvals and other relevant compliance processes.
  • Monitor project expenditure, assess variations and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
  • Proactively resolve construction challenges, delays and operational issues.
  • Conduct regular site visits and oversee key construction milestones, handovers and store launches.
  • Manage snagging, defects and final project close-out.
  • Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders on budgets, timelines, progress and potential risks.
  • Help establish scalable processes, supplier relationships and delivery standards to support the company's wider expansion strategy.

About You

We are seeking an organised, proactive and commercially aware individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in project management, property development or construction delivery within retail, hospitality, leisure or food and beverage.
  • A successful track record of delivering new store openings, commercial fit-outs or multi-site rollouts.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project programming, procurement and contractor management.
  • Experience managing project budgets, negotiating costs and controlling variations.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations, statutory approvals and relevant compliance requirements.
