General Manager - High-Volume Bar - Up to £75,000
We are working with an exciting, high-volume bar operation in East London to find an exceptional General Manager to lead the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, commercially driven General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to lead large teams and has a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. We are looking for someone who has serious high-volume bar experience, ideally having managed an operation generating weekly revenues of £100k+, and who understands what it takes to run a busy, high-energy venue successfully.
The Role:
As General Manager, you will take full ownership of the operation, driving performance, developing your team and ensuring the venue delivers an exceptional experience for every guest. You will be a highly visible leader, both on the floor and within the wider business, acting as a true ambassador for the venue. Building relationships, creating connections and representing the business with confidence will be just as important as your operational and commercial ability.
What We're Looking For:
- A proven General Manager with at least 2 years' experience at GM level.
- Essential experience managing a high-volume bar operation with weekly revenues of £100k+.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with a proven track record of driving revenue, profitability and operational standards.
- A confident and presentable individual who naturally commands a room.
- A natural people person who can act as the face of the business, build a strong presence in the local area and create lasting relationships with guests, partners and stakeholders.
- A hands-on, visible leader who leads from the front and sets the standard for the team.
