We are working with a growing wholesale food-service business supplying catering and hospitality clients across the UK. They’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Manager to join their leadership team and shape the people strategy during a key phase of expansion. The business prides itself on delivering a broad range of food, ambient, non-food and cleaning supplies, backed by customer service, reliability, and value. Team members are seen as the heart of the business; the right HR leader will support and grow this culture.
Please note: This role will require travel to different site locations so a driving license/car is essential. A car allowance is provided.
What you’ll do
- Lead full end-to-end HR function, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, retention, and development.
- Develop and implement people-centric policies and procedures that support a smooth, inclusive, and motivated workforce.
- Work closely with senior leadership to plan workforce needs, support growth, and manage change.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture aligned with the organisation’s core values.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR issues, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
- Champion staff wellbeing, engagement, and continuous improvement.

- Proven HR experience (ideally in distribution, wholesale, logistics, or similar fast-moving sectors).
