We are working with a leading maintenance and services business to recruit a People & Culture Business Partner. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key role in shaping people initiatives, supporting operational leaders, and driving positive workplace culture across a diverse, multi-site environment.
The People & Culture Business Partner will help deliver people strategies across the full commercial lifecycle, from mobilisation and operations to growth and retention. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, P&C specialists and centres of excellence to design and implement effective people solutions, embedding them through structured project and change management.
This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and building trusted relationships within fast-paced, operational settings.
Please note: travel to national sites are required so the ability to drive / have a car is a must. A car allowance will be provided.
What you’ll be doing
• Rolling out people and culture plans across your business areas
• Identifying gaps and helping build, test and implement people solutions
• Supporting people initiatives throughout the commercial cycle (win, operate, grow, keep)
• Managing risk through proactive people-focused actions and solutions
• Leading on organisation design, restructures and change programmes
• Owning people projects and ensuring smooth embedding of new ways of working
• Providing guidance on complex policy matters, ER cases, TUPE and union engagement
• Delivering expert employee relations advice aligned with policy, procedure and UK employment law
• Attending operational and P&C meetings to represent the people agenda
• Coaching, supporting and developing members of the People & Culture team
• Ensuring people solutions are fully adopted across the business
• Balancing project-based people solutions with day-to-day people advisory responsibilities
What we’re looking for
• A strong HR generalist background within multi-site, B2B or operational environments
• CIPD qualified and/or degree educated
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law, including TUPE and union engagement
• Demonstrable experience in employee relations and business partnering
• A track record of supporting organisational change and managing HR projects
• Confident working with operational leaders across varied teams
• Ideal for someone ready to step up from an existing Business Partner role and take on more strategic work
