We’re looking for a confident and commercially focused Senior Meetings & Events Planner to join a busy events team in a prestigious Central London venue. This is a fast-paced role for someone who thrives on converting high-value enquiries, managing key accounts, and delivering standout conferences and events across in-person, hybrid and virtual formats.
The Role
- Convert high-revenue enquiries into confirmed business and maximise use of event space
- Plan and coordinate conferences, meetings and events from enquiry through to delivery
- Build and grow strong relationships with key accounts to drive repeat bookings
- Conduct site visits, present the venue, and confidently negotiate to win business
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Support wider sales activity, reporting, database management and revenue tracking
- Deputise for senior team members and help support junior planners when needed
About You
- Proven experience in conference and events planning within a venue or hospitality setting
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and account management skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Confident communicator who builds lasting client relationships
- Strong understanding of event operations, F&B and venue coordination
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
