This client is a fantastic and well-established Wine Distributor operating across the NORTH of the country, and soon to be nationwide. This company has big plans for expansion and offers a fantastic range of old and new world wines.
They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to head up the NEW BUSINESS and ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT up in the north. The Regional Sales Manager will be key to bringing on new business, managing existing relationships and ensuring the company's success within the area. The Regional Sales Manager will need to be able to sell the portfolio of wines from entry level to prestige. The client has a great cultural reputation and offers some excellent progression within the business.
Regional Sales Manager Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for growth of sales targets across the Northern drinks market
- Building new business and nurturing existing accounts, inclusive of independent and groups.
- Providing strategic planning in how to expand the business
- Understanding portfolio and be able to deliver full knowledge on products along with upsell opportunities.
- Acting as a Brand Ambassador to and for clients and consumers
- Planning, organizing and facilitating client meetings, organizing calls to meet KPI’s
- Driving sales and revenue
- Previous experience working in the Drinks Sector across York & Sheffield
- WSET trained with fantastic WINE knowledge.
- Be a self-starter who is driven to succeed – a strong connection and network would be preferred.
- Proven track record in delivering growth in the drinks industry.
- A customer-oriented approach to account management which aims to exceed expectations.
- A strong and assertive style to self-management and motivation.
- Able to negotiate, deliver training and competently explain an alcoholic product range
- Must be able to drive
