They are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their team. The successful Warehouse Operations Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring products and equipment are received, stored, picked, dispatched and returned efficiently and safely. - Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Manage, motivate and develop the warehouse team, creating a high-performance and safety-focused culture.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch of equipment and products.
- Coordinate the movement of equipment in and out of the warehouse around busy event and exhibition schedules.
- Manage stock levels and inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies and implementing improvements.
- Work closely with Operations, Logistics, Sales and Project teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered on time.
- Plan warehouse resources around peaks in demand, ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Implement and maintain robust warehouse processes, systems and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse efficiency, productivity and utilisation.
- Ensure full compliance with H&S, manual handling, storage and warehouse procedures.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and provide regular performance reporting to senior management.
- Manage relationships with transport and logistics partners where required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional warehouse environment.
The Ideal Warehouse Operations Manager Candidate:
- Proven experience managing a warehouse operation and leading a team, ideally within events, exhibitions, equipment hire, logistics, manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience managing stock, inventory and warehouse systems.
- A strong understanding of warehouse health & safety requirements.
