Food Director / Head of Food

A growing national hospitality group is looking for a senior food leader to shape and drive its food and beverage proposition across a substantial UK estate.
This is a senior leadership role with real influence. You’ll take ownership of the food strategy across the group, from proposition and menu development through to commercial performance, standards and operational delivery.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the group-wide food strategy across a multi-site estate
- Shaping a distinctive, commercially strong food proposition
- Driving menu development with a focus on modern British and seasonal cooking
- Improving food quality, consistency and guest experience across the estate
- Delivering strong commercial performance across multiple sites
- Leading and developing senior food and operational teams
- Working closely with the wider leadership team on growth and business strategy
- Travelling nationally across the UK estate
We’re looking for

- Head of Food
- Food Director
- Director of Food & Beverage
- Group Executive Chef
- Senior F&B Director
You’ll need a proven track record operating at scale within pubs, hotels, restaurants or a similar multi-site hospitality environment.
Most importantly, you’ll combine strong food credentials with commercial understanding and the leadership ability to influence at board and senior stakeholder level.
Key requirements
- Multi-site hospitality experience
- Strong food and F&B strategy experience
- Modern British and seasonal food knowledge
- Proven commercial and P&L understanding
- Senior stakeholder and team leadership experience
- Comfortable with national UK travel
- Based in the UK with full UK working rights
Package
£100,000 circa, depending on experience.
