I'm recruiting a

Group Executive Chef for a leading independent contract caterer, looking for an exceptional chef to influence food, people and standards across a growing national portfolio.

You don't necessarily need to already have the Group Executive Chef title, but you must have multi-site experience and be confident supporting chefs and operations across different locations.

The Opportunity

  • Work across a national portfolio of premium

B&I contracts.

  • Support multiple sites, Executive Chefs and kitchen teams.
  • Lead new openings and mobilisations.
  • Develop menus, concepts and new food ideas.
  • Deliver tastings and client presentations.
  • Mentor and develop senior chefs.
  • Help shape culinary standards across the business.

About You

Multi-site culinary experience is essential.

  • Strong restaurant or hotel foundation, ideally high-end or fine dining.
  • Established

B&I or premium contract catering experience.

  • Executive Chef, Regional Chef, Development Chef or similar background.
  • Proven experience running significant kitchen operations and leading teams. Strong across workplace dining and high-end hospitality.
  • Commercially aware with a genuine passion for food.

Personality is really important for this one.

We're looking for someone warm, engaging, energetic and down to earth . Someone who can walk into another Head Chef's kitchen and make them feel supported rather than inspected.

You'll be just as comfortable cooking alongside a CDP as mentoring an Executive Chef or presenting to a board-level client .

You'll be curious about food, eat out, follow what's happening in restaurants and bring that energy and inspiration back into the business.

This is a brilliant next step for someone with multi-site experience who wants more influence, national exposure and a genuine route into future senior culinary leadership.
