We are working with a fast-growing, well-known hospitality group with a strong presence across London, who are looking to appoint an experienced Employee Relations Manager to support their dynamic, multi-site operation. This is a key role within the people function, responsible for leading on all employee relations matters across a diverse workforce. You’ll work closely with operational leaders to provide pragmatic, commercial ER advice while helping to build positive employee relationships and consistent people practices.
The Role
- Act as the subject matter expert for all employee relations issues across multiple sites
- Manage complex ER cases end-to-end, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability, absence, and investigations
- Coach and advise managers on best practice, employment law, and policy application
- Ensure consistency and fairness in ER decision-making across the business
- Identify trends and proactively recommend improvements to policies, processes, and training
- Support change initiatives, restructures, and consultation processes where required
- Build strong relationships with site leadership teams and central HR colleagues
About You
- Proven experience in an Employee Relations or HR Manager role, ideally within hospitality, retail, leisure, or another fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident handling high-volume and complex ER cases with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels
- Commercially minded, resilient, and comfortable working in a hands-on role
