The Role
As the Director of Learning & Development, you will report directly to the HR Director and play a pivotal role in driving talent development across the organisation. With responsibility for a significant budget and a high-performing team of L&D professionals, you will design and implement innovative learning strategies that align with business goals. You’ll lead leadership development programs, create clear career progression pathways, and spearhead initiatives that prepare future leaders to navigate the challenges of the FMCG sector.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a large team of L&D professionals, ensuring excellence in all training initiatives.
- Develop and execute company-wide leadership development strategies and tailored career pathways.
- Manage the Apprenticeship program and core training budgets to maximise ROI.
- Introduce cutting-edge learning programs that address emerging skill gaps in the fast-evolving FMCG landscape.
- Oversee the annual talent review process, identifying opportunities for leadership growth and succession planning.
- Partner with external providers to deliver accredited and industry-relevant training programs.
- Present strategic initiatives to senior leadership and act as a trusted advisor on talent and leadership development.
