COREcruitment is partnering with one of London's best-run premium restaurant groups to find a Senior Sous Chef for its large, high-volume site in central London.Everything is cooked fresh on site every day in open kitchens, the group is a certified B Corp with several central London sites, and new openings are on the way.Senior Sous Chef is the pipeline for Head Chef here, and this is a role built for someone who wants to be next.

The Senior Sous Chef role
- Be the reliable number two to the Head Chef and run the kitchen in their absence
- Lead service across a 100+ seat dining room and a 60-seat private dining room
- Oversee prep, ordering and stock control
- Train, mentor and develop the brigade
- Keep food quality, hygiene and consistency tight
About you
- Senior Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, fresh-food kitchen
- Confident running busy services solo
- Strong on stock control, food safety and team development
- A calm, hands-on leader
- Ready to make your next move Head Chef
The package
- 50k total package
- Bonus of up to 5k a year, paid six-monthly
- Team retention bonus
- Up to 55.5k a year with full bonus
- 48-hour contract averaging 45 to 48 hours, moving to 45 hours within the next year
- Paid overtime
- Structured training and a clear path from Senior Sous Chef to Head Chef
