Head office, Liverpool Street (10 sites) and growing fast. I’m working with an ambitious, well-established restaurant group in London that’s entering an exciting new phase of growth. The business has the capital in place to fund an expansion programme, with new sites planned and a clear strategy to grow the brand across London and beyond. This is a restaurant-focused business built on great food, warm hospitality and strong standards.

As they scale, they want an exceptional Operations Director to lead the estate, protect what makes the brand special and build the operational foundations for long-term growth. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for a structured, highly organised operator who leads from the front.

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to deliver the growth plan, drive commercial performance and build a culture where talented people are developed and promoted from within.

The Operations Director role:

  • Lead operations across the restaurant portfolio, with full accountability for performance, standards and guest experience.
  • Play a key role in the expansion strategy, including new site openings and scaling the operating model.
  • Drive sales, profitability and cost control across a significant P&L.
  • Build, develop and retain strong General Manager and leadership teams, with a clear focus on internal progression.
  • Set and maintain consistently high standards of food, service and guest experience across every site.
  • Put the systems, structures and processes in place that support a growing business.
  • Act as a visible, inspiring leader who is regularly out in the restaurants with the teams.

What they’re looking for:

  • A strong background with a quality restaurant group, ideally with London experience.
  • Experience in fine dining or premium casual dining.
  • A proven track record of leading, developing and growing internal talent.
  • An uncompromising focus on standards, consistency and operational excellence.
  • Strong financial acumen and a history of growing sales and profitability.
  • Experience of growth, expansion or new openings would be a real advantage.
  • Someone super organised and structured, who turns strategy into results on the ground.
  • A true leader looking for a long-term role in a business with real ambition and investment behind it.

Salary is £150,000 plus benefits and bonus.
