Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the People agenda across the business, partnering closely with senior operational leaders and driving impactful, pragmatic HR initiatives.

The Role

This is a broad, regional Head of HR role with responsibility for partnering senior leaders and leading a well established People function. You will balance strategic thinking with day to day operational delivery, bringing practical solutions rather than theory.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as a trusted People partner to Managing Directors, Area Directors, and Area Managers
  • Leading and developing a multi disciplinary People team
  • Driving initiatives across EDI, employee engagement, performance management, and learning & development
  • Managing complex employee relations matters, including TUPE and redundancy processes
  • Supporting a culture of growth, honesty, and flexibility
  • Shaping and delivering new People projects in an environment with significant scope for change and improvement

Experience:

  • A self starter with a proactive, driven mindset
  • Confident, resilient, and comfortable operating with senior stakeholders
  • A pragmatic HR leader who values “real-world” experience over theory
  • Comfortable working with a non-micromanaging, high-performing CPO
  • A people-focused leader who enjoys seeing others grow and develop
  • Able to balance honesty with flexibility and find common ground
  • CIPD qualified (level flexible)
  • Strong working knowledge of TUPE and redundancy processes
