Head Bartender & Trainer – Cocktail Bar
South London | Up to £33,000 per annum | 40 hours per week
Are you passionate about cocktails, exceptional service and developing people? We’re looking for a confident, proactive and hands‑on Head Bartender & Trainer to join an exciting cocktail bar operation in South London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bartender who loves being behind the bar but is equally passionate about sharing their knowledge, training others and helping a team reach its full potential.With the company preparing to open a brand‑new venue in Southwest London, you’ll play a key role in the pre‑opening process, helping recruit, train and develop the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience from day one.
The Role:
- Lead by example behind the bar, delivering exceptional cocktails and outstanding customer service.
- Train, coach and develop the bar team, ensuring consistently high standards.
- Take a hands‑on role in preparing the team for the upcoming venue opening in SW London.
- Deliver engaging and effective training on cocktail knowledge, techniques, service standards and bar operations.
- Motivate and inspire the team, creating a positive and energetic working environment.
- Maintain excellent standards of presentation, consistency and attention to detail.
- Support the wider operation and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
About You:
- A confident and skilled Head Bartender with a genuine passion for cocktails.
- Someone who loves great service and understands the importance of creating memorable guest experiences.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and hands‑on, with a natural ability to lead by example.
- Experienced in training, coaching or developing other bartenders.
- A strong communicator who can motivate a team and bring out the best in others.
- Organised, reliable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced cocktail bar environment.
