A dynamic, fast-paced multi-site hospitality business with a strong presence across the UK is seeking an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist to join our People team, based in London and supporting managers across multiple retail locations. This is a hands-on role where you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing expert guidance on all aspects of employee relations in a commercial hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full range of ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence, and investigations.
  • Provide clear, pragmatic advice to line managers in line with UK employment law and company policy.
  • Support complex and high-risk cases through to resolution.
  • Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence and capability in ER matters.
  • Ensure consistent and fair application of policies across all sites.
  • Identify trends and risks, providing recommendations to reduce ER issues.
  • Support change initiatives, including restructures and TUPE where required.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in an ER focused role, ideally within retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Confident advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to manage high case volumes while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Pragmatic, commercially minded, and solutions-focused.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) essential.
