Senior Tax Manager

I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager to lead and develop an established Tax function within an established professional services business.
This is a newly shaped leadership opportunity, with scope to develop the team, strengthen client relationships and take ownership of the department’s technical and commercial performance.
The role:
- Lead and develop a team of 5
- Manage senior client relationships and advisory work
- Act as the senior technical escalation point
- Drive WIP, recovery, pricing and profitability
- Identify and develop new advisory opportunities across the wider client base
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of the Tax function
Candidate Profile:
- CTA qualified or equivalent
- Strong mixed-tax experience with a solid Corporation Tax background
- Professional services/accountancy practice experience preferred
- Strong commercial awareness and experience advising owner-managed or entrepreneurial businesses
- Hospitality or leisure experience would be advantageous
