What You’ll Do- Shape the direction of portering and logistics services, design innovative solutions, and guide operational teams to deliver consistent, high-performing services nationwide.
- Introduce modern digital tools, develop standardised service playbooks, and showcase best-in-class solutions to stakeholders.
- Uphold the highest standards in safety, sustainability, and regulation; strengthen controls and support sector audits.
- Embed environmentally responsible practices across operations, supporting greener workflows and organisational ESG objectives.
- Build trusted relationships, exceed expectations, and contribute expertise to bids and tenders.
- Coach, mentor, and grow capability across multiple teams while fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Extensive experience leading portering, logistics, or facilities services, ideally in healthcare or complex operational environments.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence presenting to clients and cross-functional teams.
- Passion for digital tools, data insight, and modern logistics methods.
- Expert knowledge of safety, manual handling, infection control, and operational standards.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Full driving licence with willingness to travel.
- Relevant facilities management or operational qualifications (IWFM, IOSH, CIWM, CPC).
- Health & Safety certifications highly advantageous.
