ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER | FINE DINING RESTAURANT | £50,000
We’re looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join an exceptional fine dining restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who is genuinely guest-focused, hands‑on and loves being on the floor. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading a small team, developing the team and ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as an AGM, Assistant Manager or senior FOH leader within a fine dining restaurant ideally.
- A genuine passion for exceptional guest service
- Strong wine knowledge, WSET would be highly desirable
- A hands‑on management style and a strong presence on the floor
- Someone who enjoys being part of the team and leads by example
- Experience training, developing and motivating a team
- Excellent communication skills and a real eye for detail
- A warm, energetic and professional approach to hospitality
The role:
- Supporting the GM with the day‑to‑day running of the fine dining restaurant
- Leading, training and motivating a small FOH team
- Maintaining exceptional service standards
- Spending plenty of time on the floor, engaging with guests and supporting the team
- Helping create a welcoming, polished and memorable guest experience
