AI Business Analyst
Manchester
We’re looking for an experienced AI Business Analyst to join a major organisation undergoing significant AI-led transformation.
This isn’t a traditional BA role. You will help identify where Generative AI, Agentic AI and automation can improve business processes, reduce manual effort and enable better decision-making, then work with business and technology teams to turn those opportunities into practical solutions.
The role
You will work across multiple business functions to:
- Identify and prioritise high-value AI and automation opportunities
- Map current processes and design future-state, AI-enabled workflows
- Translate business challenges into AI use cases, requirements, user stories and success measures
- Work closely with Engineers, Data, Security and business teams to develop safe, scalable AI solutions
- Support POCs, pilots and rollouts, including testing, acceptance criteria and business readiness
- Help drive change, training and adoption of new AI-enabled ways of working
- Track benefits including productivity, cost savings, adoption and AI/token usage
- Develop reusable prompt libraries, AI workflows, templates and best-practice materials
Experience
- You will ideally have 5+ years in Business Analysis / Transformation experience, with strong process improvement and stakeholder management skills
- You will have hands on experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Power Apps or Azure AI Services, alongside a good understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation and responsible AI
- Experience with process mapping/BPMN, requirements gathering, user stories, change management and technology delivery will be important, as will the ability to work confidently with senior business stakeholders and technical teams
