Are you ready to enjoy the Essex Countryside? I am working with an established leisure and hospitality estate set within over 300 acres of beautiful countryside, offering a unique mix of golf, fitness, dining, and event experiences. They are adding to the commercial team and are looking for a Weddings & Events Sales Executive to help grow the weddings, conferences, and private event business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Proactively sell meeting and event spaces, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to event delivery, ensuring every experience is memorable.
  • Conduct site visits and show rounds for prospective clients and agents.
  • Maximise every sales opportunity through effective up-selling and cross-selling of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries from various online platforms.
  • Focus areas include weddings, celebrations, wakes, conferences, and corporate events.

About you:

  • Previous sales experience within a leisure, hospitality, or event setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • High standard of written English and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional, proactive, and personable approach.
