I am excited to be partnered with a leading independent wine importer and distributor which has been a regular in the Harpers Best Drink Supplier for a number of years. This business, with almost 10 years in the industry, has a well-known and highly regarded portfolio of producers covering a number of exciting locations. We are looking for a Fine Wine Sales Manager who has extensive experience working with premium producers and suppliers across the On-Trade. With a predominant Italian portfolio, this role will focus on the high end, prestige and luxury market working with some exceptional wines. The Fine Wine Sales Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with sommeliers, venue management and directors.
Candidates from a fine wine background will be preferred, with a proven track record in sales and account management.

- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet customer needs and company objectives.
- Collaborate with our team to understand and communicate the unique stories of our wine selections.
- Regularly meet with customers to discuss product offerings, market trends, and growth opportunities.
- Represent our brand at tastings, events, and industry gatherings.
- A proven track record in sales working in the Fine Wine sector, along with experience managing accounts and sommelier relationships.
- A strong network of contacts in high-end bars and restaurants.
- Deep knowledge and passion for global wines, with an understanding of unique and artisanal wine categories.
- The ability to sell wine and have a track record in negotiations and pricing.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- WSET level 3 minimum.
