The Role: Surveyor / Property Manager Sector: Hospitality – Pub Group Location: – London Salary: £65,000pa I am thrilled to be working with this innovative and well-loved hospitality group. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Property Manager / Surveyor to join them and give the estate the love and attention it deserves. The role will look after approximately 35 sites around the London area. About the role: The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the estate is kept compliant, gorgeous, and most importantly, running smoothly. You will lead on all aspects of building and property maintenance, small refurbishment works and capital works. Maintaining well organized records of dilapidations, repairs and asset life-cycle and being able to report on these will be key, along with the ability to prioritize tasks. All about you: You will be an excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with Site GMs and your suppliers / contractors. You will have excellent financial acumen, capable of managing a monthly repairs budget and be able to contribute to setting future budgets and controlling costs. Ideally you will have worked with a CAFM system such as Access Maintain and be able to prioritize tasks easily. Key duties and experience: Ideally RICS qualified, (not esstentail) with a demonstrable track record in a Property role, with a thorough knowledge of property management issues Robust knowledge of a relevant industry sector would be advantageous, and knowledge of a retail-related environment is essential In-depth knowledge of maintenance and compliance, with the ability to forecast issues in the medium and long-term future Detailed knowledge of current Buildings Regulations and all relevant legislation, including Health and Safety and the Landlord and Tenant Act Prepare scheme designs and detailed specifications, with costings, program completion details and material use. Resolve reactive maintenance escalations. Inspect / Survey sites to determine maintenance, repair, dilapidation or refurbishment requirements and provide reports. Provide support for out-of-hour emergencies on evenings and weekends. Come to work with energy and enthusiasm! There will be travel involved in order to fulfill the requirements of this role.
