The Role: Account Director

Location: Flexible – National Remit

Salary: £75,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

I am delighted to be working with a forward-thinking and innovative business with an enviable client list. Thanks to an incredible track record for growth and new contract wins mobilising very soon, we are looking for an Account Director to join the Senior Team.

As Account Director you will need strong operational and client relationship expertise. This senior role will oversee key client partnerships, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and long-term customer satisfaction. Exposure to client accounts that are national, multi-site businesses is a must and understanding retail clients would be a huge bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client partnerships, acting as the primary point of contact for a major account.
  • Ensure contract delivery, SLA performance, and high-quality service standards are consistently met.
  • Work closely with operations teams to align delivery processes with client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance.
  • Manage account budgets, forecasts, and reporting with accuracy and transparency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for client needs.
  • Oversee contract renewals, pricing reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across internal departments and stakeholder networks.
  • Ensure that opportunities for business growth are recognised and acted upon.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in account or contract management within the industrial, facilities management, or equipment supply sectors.
  • A strong operational background with knowledge of service delivery models and performance management.
  • Excellent relationship-builder, able to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and operational teams.
  • Well-organised and analytical, with proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
