We're currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join a high-volume, premium restaurant known for delivering exceptional food and service in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong operator who thrives in busy venues and is confident leading large teams while maintaining high standards throughout service.
The Role:
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of a high-volume premium restaurant
- Lead, motivate, and develop a large team (50+ staff)
- Ensure excellent guest experience during busy services
- Support with rotas, staffing, training, and performance management
- Assist with financial controls, stock management, and P&L awareness
- Uphold brand standards, compliance, and operational excellence
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven AGM or strong Deputy GM / GM experience in fast-paced, premium or high-volume venues
- Confident managing large teams (50+ staff)
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Good commercial awareness; P&L knowledge highly desirable
- Solid wine knowledge: WSET qualification is a strong advantage
- Hands-on, organised, and calm under pressure
