I'm currently partnered with a healthcare organisation committed to reducing health inequalities across the UK who are building a suite of mobile apps and digital products with positive behaviour change at the core. They're now looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to work directly alongside the team lead, taking end to end ownership of features, contributing to real technical decisions and stepping up to coordinate the team when needed. If you're ready to grow into a lead role, this is a meaningful step toward that.

The Role

  • You’ll be working across their existing React and React Native applications on both web and mobile surfaces, playing a major part in building new apps on their roadmap. This isn't a role where you're just picking up tickets. You’ll be contributing to technical discussions, deputising for the team lead and working within a regulated healthcare environment where data handling and clinical safety considerations are part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining features across React and React Native applications covering web and mobile
  • Playing a major part in building new apps coming down the product roadmap
  • Designing and querying PostgreSQL databases with an eye on performance and the sensitivity of health data

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years commercial experience across the full stack
  • Strong hands‑on skills in React, React Native, TypeScript and PostgreSQL
  • Comfortable in a small team where your contributions are visible and your decisions carry weight

Nice To Have

  • Experience in healthcare, clinical systems or other regulated environments
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards or NHS digital infrastructure
  • Prior experience supporting or deputising for a team lead

This is a brilliant opportunity for a developer who wants more than just writing code, someone who wants to take real ownership, grow into a leadership position and work on technology that genuinely makes a difference to people's lives.
