Junior Software Engineer – Hybrid (2 Days Onsite | North East) – Up to £36,600

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building and improving software using the Microsoft stack (primarily .NET Core)
• Developing new features and products with a cloud-agnostic approach
• Writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures
• Collaborating with Testers to strengthen their automation-first testing strategy
• Embracing Agile ways of working and contributing to team discussions
• Improving platform testability and maintainability

What They’re Looking For:

You don’t need to tick every box, but the more experience you bring in the following, the better:

Essential:

• C# / .NET Core (ASP.NET)
• Entity Framework
• MS SQL – performance tuning and stored procedures

Desirable:

• Blazor (or a strong interest in learning it)
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• React (used in legacy systems)
• Azure or other cloud experience
