We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Nottingham software house for a Junior Developer to join a close-knit engineering team. This is a genuine career-starter role with a business that invests heavily in its people, offering structured training, real ownership from day one, and a culture built around doing things properly rather than rushing things out.

The project AI is woven throughout the development workflow, with GitHub Copilot licences for the whole team and a real focus on integrating AI capabilities into the product itself.

  • Around 9 to 12 months of commercial development experience, or a Computer Science degree with a placement year completed - A placement year is essential for graduate applicants, it's the baseline, not a nice-to-have
  • Solid understanding of C# and object-oriented principles
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and relational databases
  • Comfortable with the fundamentals of cloud computing, Azure experience is a bonus
  • 6 weeks holiday
  • 2 days hybrid working from central Nottingham
