An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Systems Analyst to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation. This role will play a crucial part in optimising business processes, enhancing systems, and acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Analyse and improve business processes, workflows, and systems to support operational efficiency.
- Liaise with stakeholders across departments to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Drive improvements in data usage and reporting by developing SQL queries and performing data analysis.
- Support delivery of system enhancements and process changes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping exercises to gather insights and document current/future state processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and finance to deliver successful system solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, ideally within the insurance or wider financial services sector.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing data.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build strong working relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, workflow optimisation, and requirements gathering.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
