Are you a Senior Full-Stack Developer who loves building scalable, secure, high-performing web applications? This is a chance to join a growing EdTech environment where you’ll play a major role in shaping the next generation of digital learning platforms used by thousands of professional users every day.
You’ll join a small, collaborative internal engineering team working on a high-traffic learning management system and a portfolio of customer-facing websites. This is a role where your ideas, technical leadership, and engineering standards will make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end development of modern web applications across the full stack.
- Designing secure, scalable solutions built in ASP.NET Core, C#, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Working closely with Product and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality features that improve user experience and platform performance.
- Supporting and troubleshooting live websites to ensure stability, reliability, and availability.
- Building and maintaining integrations, APIs, and data flows across internal and third-party systems.
- Contributing to an ongoing modernisation programme, including containerised deployments and migrations into Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Mentoring developers, driving code quality, and helping shape engineering best practices.
Tech Stack You’ll Work With
- Backend: ASP.NET Core, C#, Python, REST APIs
- Frontend: React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, SQL MI, Storage, AKS)
- Data: SQL Server, schema design, optimisation
- DevOps: Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines
- Other: eCommerce integrations, HyGraph CMS
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications.
- Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET Core, C#, and modern frontend frameworks (React ideal).
- Hands-on experience with Azure, including hosting, storage, SQL Managed Instance, and containerisation in AKS.
- Solid understanding of web security, authentication flows (Azure AD B2C/OAuth), and performance optimisation.
- Experience integrating payment systems (Stripe, Worldpay or similar) and understanding of PCI DSS considerations.
- Strong SQL skills — including schema design, query optimisation, and data layer best practices.
- Comfortable mentoring and supporting other engineers, participating in architecture discussions, and contributing to agile delivery.
